What is up with the absurdly small list of VoLTE phones and when will this list be expanded?

I recently bought a OnePlus 10 Pro 5G and received an email this morning that my phone is not going to work on the Fizz network once VoLTE is implemented. This is ridiculous as it's a brand new phone and has all the requirements.

I took a look at the "approved" phones list for VoLTE and it's as if Fizz has forgotten that there are more brands than Apple, Samsung and Pixel... like cmon! This makes no sense. When is the list going to be expanded?

    Hi @Tyler A.

Probably they want to be sure that the phone is working correctly

BTW all the providers have such list

    Hello Tyler A.  ,

Thank you for opening this thread.
We won't have an estimation for when new models will be added in the list for Fizz certified phones, however rest assured we are trying to add as many phones as possible.
With a Fizz VoLTE SIM you can test the VoLTE option on your phone, however until your phone will appear in the certified list of Fizz I cannot guarantee that it will work. If the network will remain LTE when you are in a call, it will mean VoLTE is working on the phone.

I am counting on your understanding and I wish you a good day,
    -Georgian
