How to make an appointment with technician for my modem

    Here's how to reschedule your technician appointment:


    Log into your account and go to Manage.

    Click on Appointments.

    Here you will be able to see a complete list of all your past and future appointments.

    Scroll to the appointment you wish to modify.

    To reschedule an appointment, click on Reschedule.

    This will open the booking interface. Select a new day and time slot and click Save.

    Beware — if you just finished scheduling your appointment, please allow a 3-hour delay for the Reschedule button to appear in your account.

    Beware — once 24-hours have elapsed since the due date of the appointment, the «Reschedule» button will appear.

    To cancel an appointment, click on Cancel.On the next screen, confirm that you wish to cancel this appointment by clicking Cancel again.

    *To reschedule or cancel on the same day as your appointment, you must do so via a member of our Customer Service team: simply log into your Fizz account and click on the chat bubble in the bottom right corner of this page during our business hours.


     *You can reschedule your appointment up to three (3) times. If you try to reschedule a fourth time, your subscription will be automatically cancelled, and you’ll have to restart the process all over.

    Important tips for a tech visit.

    Here are a few things to know to make sure the technician’s visit runs as smoothly as possible.

    On average, a visit lasts less than an hour. You’ll get a better time estimate once the technician is on-site. 

    Do not expect a call from the technician. He’ll only contact you at the number you provided when you planned your appointment if he plans to arrive before or after the allocated time slot.

    A person over 18 years old must be present. If not, the technician cannot complete the work, and a new appointment will have to be scheduled.

    Your equipment should be easily accessible. Move ahead of time any furniture that may complicate things.

    If you’re the owner of a household pet, please keep it away from the rooms where the technician will be working.

    If you are a building tenant, have the owner’s written authorization beforehand should the technician need to drill, for example, a hole in an exterior wall. If the building owner is on-site, his verbal agreement will suffice. If you have shared ownership of your property, be familiar with the rules of your association in regard to such matter. The electrical room also needs to be accessible.

    You message is not clear, you need the technician since you have a problem with your internet or it is the first installation?

    When it is about an initial subscription or a moving order, both actions can be made from the Fizz account.

    However, in case you need a technician for other reasons (need a coaxial outlet installed someone else that you already have, want the modem to be relocated in the house, modem defective) you will have to contact us in private and we will set the appointment.
