How to get a technician for installation
I chose to have no technician for installation but I realized it was going to be harder than I thought and I need a technician. My modem hasn't arrived yet but when it does I will need one. Can I schedule an appointment with a tech? How do I do that? This is my first time with fizz.

To view, change or cancel an appointment
Your technician appointments are in your Fizz account. Simply log in and under My plans > Manage plan > Appointments you’ll be able to view, reschedule or cancel your appointment, even up until the moment when the technician is on route.
You can reschedule your appointment up to three (3) times. After that, your order will be cancelled, and you’ll have to start the process all over.

If there was no Fizz before, the Tech will come to check/install the cable and probably he will bring you the modem.

If you want to have the modem configured by the technicien, contact the support and ask for the VIP installation it will cost 60$ more https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-subscribe-to-fizz-home-internet

As I know, if no cable, surely need technician. If with cable, just connect the cable to modem and electric outlet, then let modem do the rest.

For the moment it`s not possible to get a technician for the delivery if you have the auto-installation option on your account ( as I verified it in detail ).
You will have to go get the modem or check if you can reschedule another delivery ( as stated in your tracking number ).
In this case you can either activate the plan, then unsubscribe in the same day and send it back, or just refuse the delivery and ask the delivery company to send back the modem.
Then you can place a new appointment but with a technician this time.
