Can I transfer a 343 number (Ottawa) when I get a Fizz mobile plan, even if I live in Quebec?

I think I should based on the fizz subscription areas, but want to confirm before purchasing a sim card.

Hola,

Your phone number must be a mobile number. If it's associated with a landline or VOIP, it cannot be transferred over to Fizz. Same goes for an administrative phone number — for example, a number associated with an organization or public institution.

From their page, all the mobile numbers from Quebec Province and the Ottawa region can be transfer to Fizz (the number must belong to the subscription area https://fizz.ca/en/faq/subscription-area-and-coverage-area)
