Hello,

Our internet stopped working at around 3pm today (June 2, 2023), in Laval Val des arbres.

I have been trying to reach the support, but everytime I reached number 12-15 on the line, I get kicked back to 59 on the line, and it is taking hours every time.

Does anybody know if something is happening at Fizz right now ?

We tried the reboot multiple times with no result, I just want to know if some work is performed right now or if my modem has blown up.

I will keep trying to reach the support... but in case someone can help us here....

Thank you

Ok cool, thank you. Could you send me a link to where these outages have been reported please ?

Oh sorry, I didn't see the pictures on your first answer. And thank you for the links.

I am not a specialist, but these numbers do not seem like a lot.

    Are they uncommon ?

Agree, but with current weather conditions there are outages everywhere. We're all users here, only support can confirm what's the exactly issue in your region.

Yes, I am trying, but that seems impossible. right now.

I have been stucked at number 10 for 20 minutes, and now I am back to 34...

I don't know what is going on.

Looks like they are overwhelmed, you can also try to contact them through Facebook messenger or WhatsApp but it will be not live chat but like an email.

Hello. So it seems like the rooter has reset to factory settings for some reason.

When I came back home, I did tje whole setup and it worked.

    Thank you for asking

    Hello Noname56,

I am sorry to hear that you had issues with your home internet connection, however I am happy you managed to fix it with the help of our members. Rest assured that we are trying to reply to everyone as fast as possible, however sometimes depending on the total number of interactions we have, there can be delays before we answer.

Related to the modem situation, after a power outage it can get a forced factory reset, situation in which you will be able to see the modem on your WIFI devices with the default name/ password from the back of the modem.
I wish you a good day and in case of any other questions, you can contact us anytime in private from this FAQ: https://fizz.ca/en/support
