Still being charged for a cancelled plan and cannot sign in under my old username to cancel again.

Hi, I am very frustrated.

I cancelled my Fizz phone subscription over a year ago but still see a charge for it on my credit card bills every month. I have tried reaching out to Fizz customer service but am being sent in circles. I am also locked out of the account with my old username/email and just get a notification that there is no account with that username (this is a new one with a different email).

I cannot get through to anyone and keep hitting dead ends, while losing money every month.

    Hi @BenD

    If you already connected to your account, you should contact again Fizz support, and also your credit card institution. The credit card institution can block the charge.

    Here we are only users, we cannot do much :(

    If when you chat with the support, after asking the first question, you can ask to talk with a customer rep.

    Type

    chat with a Customer Service rep.


    Did you check on all your email to find out which one you have used to use the Fizz account, and after ask to reset your password https://fizz.ca/en/faq/im-unable-log-my-fizz-account-what-do-i-do.

    Your account stay open for 3 years, and if Fizz still charging, probably you never closed correctly your plan. You must find out which email you have used, this is important.

    Byw, contact your bank and explain the situation and they should be able to reverse all the transactions.

    @BenD coltact your credit card company to block the payments. Report the issue to them. They would most likely cancel your card and issue a new one. Good Luck.

    Exactly what I would suggest. You can cancel payments for services you didn’t receive.

    I would try to contact customer service by twitter or whatsapp... they are usually quite responsive.

    I would also block the automatic payment through the credit card company.
