Is VoLTE available on Fizz network?

Hello,

I have a newly activated Fizz VoLTE SIM card installed on my iPhone 13 mini. However, why do I get this warning at the bottom of the screen when I do activate de VoLTE option?

When searching in FAQs under VoLTE is says the following:

"Using a VoLTE compatible SIM card with your Fizz mobile plan means you'll be ahead of the game and ready for VoLTE when it becomes available on Fizz's network." 

It seems that, according to this message in FAQs, VoLTE is not yet available.. Is it?

    I believe that the carrier setting is not updated on your iphone https://fizz.ca/en/faq/compatible-devices

    You can chat in direct

    • Sign into your account

    • Follow the link on this page: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/im-unable-log-my-fizz-account-what-do-i-do

    • Wait 3 seconds for the green bubble with a '❔' appears at the bottom right of the browser, if you use a phone you must use it in desktop or horizontal mode

    • Choose the option 💬 chat

    • If the green bubble does not appear make sure your ad blocker is disabled, otherwise try with another browser.

    Hello Jesse,

    Thank you for your reply. I shall do that. Although I did chat yesterday with someone and I was not told about the carrier setting. A ticket has been issued. Nothing yet. After searching on web just now, I found this. So you are right Jesse, it says Network Provider Fizz 53.0. If I click this (53.0) it says PRL 1

  • My search did return this:

    To see the version of carrier settings on your device, tap Settings > General > About and look next to Carrier. To see additional carrier information, tap the version number. To verify that you have the latest carrier settings installed, contact your carrier.
