Is there a fee for answering phone calls or receiving texts while travelling in australia ?
I've been a couple of months in Australia and received calls from Canada. The total minute count is around 4-5 minutes and I wondered if it was an extra and how much it would cost me.
Browsing fizz, the only information I can find for abroad are 0.08$/text and 0.3$/MB. The call section is literally labelled N/A. Does that mean that its free?
Also, if I receive authentification texts from Canada, are those extra fees for me? Aka, should I just go full airplane mode?

Hello vincentpelletier97,
So while there are no roaming fees yet for those calls , you might be just lucky that you are able to receive calls whilst in Australia from Canada, as that feature should not work.
We will update our FAQ`s when the time comes ( this one as an example : https://fizz.ca/en/faq/abcs-fizz-mobile-services and https://fizz.ca/en/faq/im-travelling-outside-my-coverage-zone-what-are-my-roaming-options ) and when our network will be fully evolved to allow that feature.
Thank you for your understanding.
Have a good one,

Fizz doesn't support calls outside Canada and USA, but some people reported this bugs, and when this happened to other people it was free of charge.
Incoming texts are always free, whether you're within your coverage area or not, and whether you opted for unlimited texts or not.
