Slow internet speed ( less then half)

I rebooted multiple time router- reset . And did not get even half speed.fizz Wi-Fi application not responding and unable to complet speed test. Videotron speed test show me half speed . CSR asked me to connect only 1-2 device with wire to get full speed . Is this true to get full speed we have to connect 1-2 device?

    Hi, maybe for some for others not. Personally, all my devices are connected to wifi and the speed is always a little higher than the chosen plan. Was your speed high enough given the number of devices connected to wifi and your usage? You restarted your modem and I think you reset it to factory settings? Two different manipulations.

    Can I suggest something else: unplug the power cable from the back of the modem, disconnect the coaxial cable and wait several minutes. Then reconnect the coaxial cable and the power cable. The modem will be forced to reset, authenticate and reconnect to the Fizz network.

    For some subscribers, the installation of a personal router solved several difficulties.

    Hope this gives some possible leads.

    As for the speed, I am sorry to hear about this.
    Please try the manipulations Mamie  informed you about.
    Following the verifications in our tools, I see that the signals are in the normal parameters, however there is some congestion due to a bit too many devices connected.
    In this FAQ you can see for each speed how many devices you can use for having the proper speed. Keep in mind that the speed will also depend on what actions you do in a certain period as example watching a movie in 720p vs 4k: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/which-speed-should-i-choose
