Hey guys,

I downloaded an app on my phone to follow my data consumption.

Problen is there is a differnece between what my app says i downloaded versus the information on my Fizz account. Over 2 months of usage there is a 1Gb difference wich to me is a lot. Of course its 1Gb that is missing, not 1Gb in excess.

I wonder if anyone has noticed the same thing

    As for this situation, the best way to verify the consumption is from the settings of your phone. Just make sure you reset it for each month to the day when your Fizz cycle starts.

    Usually the data consumption status on the Fizz account is pretty accurate, but 1 GB is a big difference.

    Make sure you are measuring with the exact same begin and end dates as your current cycle.

    Also make sure to take into consideration any data which has been gifted or any data that has expired (data will rollover for up to 2 months before it expires).

    Also you can check the data consumption meter directly on your phone settings to see where the discrepancy may be. Perhaps the app is not totally accurate. For example, it may not include data used for hotspotting/tethering.
