Is it roaming or long distance when in contact with Canada from abroad?

Hi,

I have a Canada coverage plan with Fizz.

When I'm abroad, are calls/texts to and from Canadian numbers charged in any way? Will they be considered as roaming and/or long distance? If so, how much will it cost me per minute and message?

    Hello JFGo,
    I hope this message finds you well.

    We fully understand the need of placing calls or sending / receiving text messages while abroad, however, this option is not covered by Fizz services yet. You will only be able to use data from travel add-ons, and use messaging apps that are relying on it to place the calls instead of using voice minutes. 
    To purchase a travel add-on you will need to go to My plans > Manage plan > Travel.  Here is a link where you can see more about your Roaming options https://fizz.ca/en/faq/im-travelling-outside-my-coverage-zone-what-are-my-roaming-options.

    Except in the United States, it is not possible to call at all when abroad.
