Tuesday we had a storm and the lightening seemed to have knocked out my modem. I tried unplugging it. Resetting it. Plug it into a new outlet. Nothing seems to work. Please assist me.

If that doesn't work, defintely the modem had died

My modem isn't even connected with that cable. Just the regular TV cable and electric plug
