changing sim cards from android to iphone

Hello, I recently purchased an iphone with a new sim card (with upgraded data plan). How do I cancel the old sim card and transfer the phone # to the new sim card

    You cannot transfer a number from one plan to another. You will have to change the plan of your old SIM and insert it into the iPhone. After that, you can cancel the plan you had taken for the iPhone.
