Calls/Texts to/from USA with Canada/USA plan
Hi ! I have signed up to this plan. I want to know if my phone and service will work WHEN I am in the US? Can I call local within USA and call to Canada from the US while I'm there (in addition to calling/texting to US while I'm in Canada?). And are there any additional costs that did not exist before July 22 2022 ?

While you are in Canada, your services will continue to work as usual. So yes, you can call and text USA.
And there are no additional costs besides your usual monthly plan fee.
Here's the part which has changed...
Fizz officially says that calls and texts while you are in the US are not supported with Fizz mobile.
Please be advised. As of July 2022, only the LTE data network will be available in the United States. You will not be able to make or receive calls and text messages.
Data coverage will not be affected.

For USA, the 3G component has been removed, so you will not be able to make/receive calls or send/receive SMS, but you can try switching your phone to 2G network mode as these calls work in some areas of the USA.
Some customers have reported that calls/texts are still functional while they are in the US. So it does appear to be working in some areas like where 2G or 3G network remain available.
As for coverage, the mobile data continues to work in the United States.

Fizz said that a fews weeks ago.
So call and texto are not suppose to work whit Fizz in US

Mobile data will work, but voice may or may not. Make sur you have a B plan for calls: use social media apps like Messenger, Google Duo, FaceTime, Textnow, WhatsApp... Skype lets you call land phones with a low 3.1 cents per minute.
If calls don't work, try choosing T-Mobile.

Indeed, the calls and messages using mobile data don't work for now not important where you are (Quebec / Canada / USA). Currently we are trying to make sure everyone will have VoLTE compatible SIMs before the end of the year, period when the VoLTE service will be released. After that moment the calls and messages using data will work.
