Can't add card to payment plan?

I have a new prepaid VISA credit card and can't add it to my account, called my bank twice and they said it works fine and the problem is with Fizz, talked to Fizz's support and they said the problem is with my bank. Any other purchase I made online worked.

The address is exactly the same for my Fizz account and for my card, it's a Canadian bank account, I tried many times over a 24h period including in incognito mode, I just keep getting this exact message over and over again.

How can I fix this?

    Hello @octavia

Sorry to hear about the situation encountered!

I can see that you've already reached out to us in private, and also had a ticket escalated for the situation. As the error says, you should either try another card or reach out to your bank (as you've done) in order to resolve the situation. I'm afraid this cannot be solved by Fizz, so I kindly suggest that you should try with another card, and these are the payment methods we accept: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-payment-methods-can-i-use

We remain at your disposal for anything else.

    Take care!

    Hi Octavia,

when you enter the information for your payment method, the billing address associated with your card must be 100% identical and correspond to the address you declared to your bank for that card. Pay attention to the following items:

    • The name of the street (Ave, avenue)
    • Special works (Saint, St, Ste)
    • Hyphens
    • Spaces
    • Spelling

Otherwise, if this situation was related to your banking or credit institution by Fizz’s customer service, it can only be resolved by the institution in question, or Fizz.
