Charged after cancelling

Hi,

I cancelled my wifi subscription at the being of the month because I am moving. Fizz notified me that they received my modem back. I thought that was it.

Then, I checked my bank records and saw that this month I was refunded $5 (for reasons I don't know) but was also charged for the month's wifi. As I cancelled the subscription before the wifi plan should have renewed (on purpose so I wouldn't get stuck in this exact situation) and cannot use the wifi for this month anyway as I no longer have a modem, I would like a refund for the cost of this month's plan.

If there is a better way to get in contact with a Fizz representative please let me know as this is all I can find (even the chat service is closed).

    I am sorry to hear about this situation.
    I can see that you contacted our support team and a ticket was escalated.
    You will be able to see the progress from My settings > my tickets.

    Hi,

    in this particular case, you should contact Fizz’s support team directly, they will be able to do some further investigation to correct this situation and as well of course a refund if needed. You can do it by opening the following link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/status-services and simply scroll down until you see the green bubble, than click on it to start your chat session with the customer service.


    If the chat bubble still does not appear at the bottom of the page, on the right, after a few seconds, the number of pending sessions is higher than the service’s processing capacity. At that time, you can leave a message on the other proposed communication channels:
