I have cancelled my internet. I left my matrimonial home June 17 from an abusive situation. I cannot go back to the house since he changed all the codes. I'm still waiting to get the official statement from Police to access my home so I can get the modem back and ship it. That said, the return will be past the 15 days. Is there any way that I don't get fined?

    Hi Nathalie,

you should contact Fizz’s support team directly to inquire about that specific situation, they will be able to provide you advice as well as precise answers in these circumstances. You can do it by opening the following link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/resolving-issues and simply scroll down until you see the green bubble, then click on it to start your chat session with the customer service.

If the chat bubble still does not appear at the bottom of the page, on the right, after a few seconds, the number of pending sessions is higher than the service’s processing capacity. At that time, you can leave a message on the other proposed communication channels:

-By private message on Facebook/Messenger: https://facebook.com/fizzca.

-By private message on Twitter : https://mobile.twitter.com/fizz_ca

    -Whatsapp : (438) 393-5814

    Hello NathalieLL72,
I am really sorry for the situation encountered,

I kindly inform you that the system is automatic and we can't stop the system from charging you after the 15 days pass. However, in case you are charged, after the modem is received by us, we will refund you for the whole amount that was taken from your bank account.
Also, I can see that you managed to get help from our customer support team in this regard.
You can see more detail here as well.  https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-return-my-wi-fi-modem

Thank you Dapfizzer for the advice to contact us

Thank you for your understanding, NathalieLL72!
    Have a great day!
    -Eugen
