Protect my phone number

Greetings,

My previous cellphone provider had an option that required callers to answer a question before being put through. This option eliminated all unwanted / spam / fraudulent calls.

Is this option available with Fizz? and if so, how do I activate?

Many thanks.

    Hello kapdan01 ,

Thank you for the provided details.

Currently, Fizz does not offer its members the option to eliminate all unwanted / spam / fraudulent calls through the procedure you mentioned.

We are happy to inform you, however, that Fizz is part of the telecom industry that has implemented universal call blocking to counter unwanted calls and support the fight against telephone fraud.

This option is activated automatically the moment a person becomes a Fizz customer. You can find more details on our FAQ: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/universal-call-blocking

Thank you and I hope you'll have a great morning.

    Hi,

unfortunately this service is not currently offered by Fizz, however many improvements have been added following suggestions from its members, and thus Fizz adapts to the needs of its subscribers(es).

If you have any questions related to the services offered or any other topics, and you would like to contact Fizz’s support team directly for advice but also for specific answers about this situation, or even in this case-if precisely, to be able to make the suggestion for this service, here is the procedure to follow in order to be able to contact the service. You can do it by opening the following link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/status-services and simply scroll down until you see the green bubble, than click on it to start your chat session with the customer service.

If the chat bubble still does not appear at the bottom of the page, on the right, after a few seconds, the number of pending sessions is higher than the service’s processing capacity. At that time, you can leave a message on the other proposed communication channels:

-By private message on Facebook/Messenger: https://facebook.com/fizzca.

-By private message on Twitter : https://mobile.twitter.com/fizz_ca

    -Whatsapp : (438) 393-5814
