How can I activate sim card, multiple credit and debit cards are declined?

I tried visa, mastercard, visa debit, prepaid cards and nothing works, I want to activate the sim card and is impossible, is impossible to reach someone who can actually help and all I want is to get data while I stay here in Canada for a couple of months. Someone helped me creating an account under their name and same goes when activating it, the cards are declined.

    Hi Fizzcolom,


    To pay for your Fizz plans, you can use:

    • Visa or Mastercard credit card
    • prepaid Visa or Mastercard
    • Debit Mastercard or Visa Debit card

    Only one-off payments are accepted with Vanilla prepaid cards

     

    You CANNOT use: 

    • American Express (Amex), Dinners and others credit cards 
    • A debit card 
    • A foreign credit/debit card 
    • Funds from your Fizz Wallet

    contact Fizz customer service directly you can do it by opening the following link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/status-services and simply scroll down until you see the green bubble, than click on it to start your chat session with the customer service.


    If the chat bubble still does not appear at the bottom of the page, on the right, after a few seconds, the number of pending sessions is higher than the service’s processing capacity. At that time, you can leave a message on the other proposed communication channels:

    I contacted customer service, it has been two days and I am still waiting for an email from the financial team. It is impossible that different cc with triple checking the billing address and all info are declined.

    It looks like fizz has this issue of declining credit cards all the time. I wish I have known before purchasing this sim card. I wasted my money and time just trying to reach customer service and activate the sim card.

  • Hello @fizzcolom, if you have a Canadian card and address that matches the Fizz criteria, it should work.If you submitted a complaint through the website then you will have to wait or try again. You can also try the @Whizz here in the forum, though it is not an official method of contacting Customer Service. Best of luck.
