I can't make phone calls and tried everything i found on forums

Since today, i can't make phone calls on my Iphone 8. The calls stay stuck on "Calling..." and nothing ever happens.

Here's what i tried :

Tried rebooting the phone

Tried other phone with sim card, same problem so Iphone not the problem

Tried switching to airplane mode and back to normal

Tried resetting Network settings

Screen time is off, no updates available for carrier or phone software.


I'm lost. Please help ?

    Hello Aleeeeex,


    I am sorry to hear about this situation.

    The majority of your usage has to be made on the Fizz network, you can only use the Fizz.Ext temporarily.

    Please also check your Fizz account to ensure plan payments are up-to-date.


    You could also can try to manually switch networks and test Fizz.Ext


    The steps to manually select a network varies depending on your phone model. Here are two examples:

    Android: Settings → Connections → Mobile networks → Network operators → Search networks → Search → Fizz.Ext

    iPhone: Settings → Operators → Search → Fizz.Ext


    If it works while connected to Fizz.Ext please switch back to Fizz and retry calls.

    You can Live chat with Fizz support:

    1- Connect to your Fizz account by clicking « Login » in the top right corner at fizz.ca

    2- Any ad blockers in your browser should be disabled.

    3- Open the help link page mentioned above from Fizz Solution Hub

    4- The green chat bubble should appear after a few seconds in the bottom right corner.

    Switching Network to Fizz.Ext worked but it won't work if I try to go back to Fizz. I figure i'm gonna stay on Fizz.Ext ?
