I paid my monthly fee on 2/25 and received an email today saying "Your next preauthorized payment: February 28, 2022"

I am sorry for the misunderstanding,
As our payment system changed a bit, your automatic payment will be taken 3 days (72 hours) before the end of the payment cycle, in order to help with any issues that could occur when the system tries to make the payment.
This change was made to help our customers. In case your payment fails for any reason, you will be notified and you can take action before your plan gets suspended because the payment did not go through.
To answer your concern, you will not be charged twice, you will be charged with 72 hours before your payment cycle ends.

here's how to contact Fizz’s support team directly to inquire about that issue whit your payment, they will be able to do some further investigation to correct this situation. You can do it by opening the following link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/status-services and simply scroll down until you see the green bubble, than click on it to start your chat session with the customer service.
If the chat bubble still does not appear at the bottom of the page, on the right, after a few seconds, the number of pending sessions is higher than the service’s processing capacity. At that time, you can leave a message on the other proposed communication channels:
