Modem activation- No lights lighting up

Hello, i just received the modem 50 minutes ago, and i'm am still stuck at step 3 since after more than 30 minutes of the modem plugged nothing has been happening( both the power and coaxial cord are plugged) . Ive un-plugged it and plugged it in another wall but still nothing. What do i do?

    • Wait 3 seconds for the green bubble with a '❔' appears at the bottom right of the browser, if you use a phone you must use it in desktop or horizontal mode

    • If the green bubble does not appear make sure your ad blocker is disabled, otherwise try with another browser.

    Thank you for trying to help, Ive tried contacting them through "Chat" but it's not working. And I've also sent a message on facebook but apart from "Hello (my name)" they didn't say anything else.

    @noe26 The chat cannot work if a lot of users are connected :( Facebook is not interactive, you send a message and you receive a reply couples of hours later :(

    When you say NO lights are lighting up, there is NOTHING at all ? Not even a flashing light of any sort ? So modem is completely dead ? I usually tell people to plug the modem in and leave it alone for 30 minutes, since it connects, then takes a bunch of modem firmware updates, and reboots itself a few times. All these unexpected reboots, can cause all sorts of frustrations and things to NOT be saved (like passwords and new SSID). But with NO lights at all, that would be useless advise.


    For CHAT, try different variations. Different browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, etc..), and try the '❔' then chat 💬 bubble, from both,

    For me, the ONLY combination that works if Firefox, using the French page. Any other combination does absolutely nothing when I click on the chat 💬 bubble (on 2 different PCs that I have tried it on).

    You can also try from a private/incongnito window.

    As much as I have been happy with FIzz services so far, I would expect a company where EVERYTHING is online, would have an easier, more reliable system for chat. Maybe things will change for 2022.

    No lights, nothing :( even now, there's still nothing happening.... i'm regretting not paying for the guy to install it.

    That is very unfortunate. DOA modems are not very common. Guess it is just bad luck.

    Have you contacted customer service ? They will be able to request that a technician bring a new modem.
