Hi, I suspended my service on Nov 2 due to me going out of the country. Now that I returned I am trying to re-activate my old number back and it will not let me, its telling me I have to select a new number.

Any help is appreciated.

Unless you transferred it to another mobile provider, you can reuse your Fizz phone number up to 60 days after unsubscribing, whether to reactivate your plan or to use it for another plan in your account.

    Source: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/reactivate

Since you fall into this 60 days window, it should not be an issue, but you will certainly need to get some help from Fizz to get it done.

    ----------------------------

Best option is to Contact a customer service agent to get help with that.

    • Sign into your account
    • Follow the link on this page: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/status-services or https://fizz.ca/fr/faq/etat-services
    • Wait 3 seconds for the green bubble with a '?' appears at the bottom right of the browser, if you use a phone you must use it in desktop or horizontal mode
    • Choose the option 💬 chat
    • If the green bubble does not appear make sure your ad blocker is disabled, otherwise try with another browser.

PS: For me the only combination that works for CHAT, is Firefox, in a private window, and only when in the French language..

    Other means of contact

CHAT however is the quickest method, but facebook is the easiest.

    Good luck.

    Hello  leeg84,

    Welcome back.
As Emporium mentioned you can reactive your service and get your line back if you are still within the 60 days period after the plan was unsubscribed.
Please follow the information he provided and if you still encounter any difficulties please reach our support.

    Have a lovely day,
    -Alex
