Why does my account show "42mbs left" when I just started the new payment cycle for 9gbs?

My previous plan was 3gb which didn't last me long so I got add ons twice. The second add on still had 42mbs left when I changed my plan (before my next payment cycle). I got the confirmation and all but now when I go to my plan section, it shows "42mbs left". What is happening?

    If your new cycle starts on September 20, you should wait until midnight to check your account.

    Your new plan change will take effect at midnight.
