Returning Fizz

Hey Fizz,

I have packaged and dropped off the boxed wifi modem and return ID number to my closet Canada Post Deposit location(Lennoxville) today at 9:52am.

This is before the September 16th deadline to avoid the invoice of $225.

I am just making sure I wont be getting charged the $225?

I have the receipt for proof if needed.

Connor

    Hi Ck3

You must keep your receipt for proof.

It seems there can be a backlog. It has happened that some members were charged even though they returned the modem. Rest assured you will be refunded once they process the return.

    Hi @CK3 ,

It often depends on how long it takes to get received and processed by fizz.

Their have been cases where it takes longer than expected to process the return, and customers have been charged. However as soon as they process it, the charges are reversed.

Unfortunately, it is an automated process, which is why the auto-charge. But as soon as it is flagged as received, IF there was a charge, it will be reversed.

But for sure, make sure to hold onto your receipt as proof.

    Hi CK3,
Checking on my end, I can see that your modem was received and you were refunded in a prorated fashion for the last days of your payment cycle during which you didn't use the service.

Youwill receive the respective sum on your credit card in a few businessdays.
You'll also be able to see this under My plans->Transaction history from yourend:

Thankyou very much for your understanding, patience and collaboration.

    Havea good one!

    Andrei

  • If you keep the receipt you'll be fine. Most cases don't need to do anything further, but it can happen that you get bad luck. Keep it for proof.
