How can I transfer my number

I can’t transfer my number because, it says my SIM card is activated on my old iPhone which I lost. Now I got a new SIM card and I want to transfer my old number into my new iPhone how ?

( I lost my old iPhone, trying to transfer number into new iPhone, it won’t let me, it says sim is activate on the old iPhone)

Hi @David J. #27339 You need to follow these instructions

Once you have your new phone and new SIM card, you’ll have to replace and delete your old SIM card that’s associated with your plan, and activate the new one. Replace my SIM card ((My plans > Manage > Change SIM card).
