Signing up for a second time but would like to keep my first modem (never returned it).
So I unsubscribed from my fizz internet plan several months ago because I moved in with my boyfriend and we use the internet here. Now I want to sign up again with a new plan but I was wondering if there is any way to use the modem that I never returned the first time? I got charged the $225 and that sucked but yes I had it coming I suppose (though no reminder email or anything to say I need to return it, but whatever it is in the past now).
Just wondering if I can somehow use that modem and just send the installation guy back with the new one? Or am I just going to have to let them install the new one and deal with it?

Hi @Danika B. ,
Since you moved to a new address, the previous modem you used won't work there unless you reactivate the plan at the old address and move the service to the new place as shown here:

It's much more easier to subscribe to a new Internet plan at the new address and get a new modem.
Also, about the old modem for which you got charged because you didn't return it, you can still return it as shown here and we will refund you the 225$ for it:

Thank you very much for your understanding, patience and collaboration.
Have a good one!
