Data roaming not working

I travelled to Sandbanks and during the trip, I couldn't connect to internet.

I tried to reset the network settings, it worked for a couple of minutes then no data.

I have an iphone 6s and data roaming was unreliable.

Is there a fix for this or should I opt for another service?

Do you have the Canada wide mobile plan or only Québec?

Have you set your phone to allow Data roaming on partner networks?

    Data roaming not working

We need a bit more information in order to help you. What plan do you have? Was roaming switched on?

Yes I have Canada wide mobile Plan and I set my phone to allow Data roaming on partner networks,

It was using LTE but it was inconsistent when I was in Belleville and Picton area.

I was able to connect to a public wi-fi to find solutions for it. But even after resetting the network config, it worked for a couple of minutes then it was not working anymore. I had to reset the network again.

I will be travelling to Wasaga and I am afraid to have the same issue again since I use my cellphone as GPS.

    Hi Lu Y.#10891,
I'd recommend you try to cycle through the different Fizz EXT options that you will see under the Carrier settings in Settings->Cellular->Network Selection.

    Details can be found here:

Thankyou very much for your understanding, patience and collaboration.

    Havea good one!

In USA, I found I need turn on airplane mode on/off in order to use data. Annoying

Just an idea.... switch manually from LTE to 4G... too many cellphones there and don't know how many towers (1/2)....all phones connected by default on the same time to LTE probably.....

    just my opinion.

Is this something you'd do regularly, or just once after entering the US? With Public Mobile, we sometimes had to power cycle (not just airplane mode) after crossing, but it was just the one time until returning to Canada.

    Thanks.
