I am moving but also have to change internet speed
Hi all,
I requested a move with fizz and I have everything set for my new place. But I also have to change the internet speed because I need additional bandwidth going forward. It says the following:
“Several changes were made to your plan. These changes have to be processed first. Please come back later“
Do we have any experience of how long this will take. We need the updated bandwidth to be able to work from home. If that is not correctly set up we rather cancel the contract before moving with it.
Thanks for your help

Hello @ElizLaylaLucas
I can see that you already contacted our support team about this situation.
It's normal to encounter that message since the moving order dispatched first.
Rest assured once the move is complete the speed can be modified and applied in a maximum of 48 hours.
The plan change can be made from My plans manage plan > adjust plan.
Here you can find more information if necessary: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/i-would-like-to-change-my-fizz-home-internet-plan-how-do-i-do-this
Have a lovely day,

Hello @ElizLaylaLucas
Do we have any experience of how long this will take
Such message means that the change will be applied on your next payment cycle.
Mind you, any change cannot be done within the freeze period of 48 hours of that anniversary monthly day of your cycle.
I'd suggest you chat with Fizz since this involves both a move and a speed increase which nowadays takes effect only in the next cycle.
To chat:
- Go to a FAQ page e.g. https://fizz.ca/en/faq/status-services
- Look bottom right for the big ❔ question mark in a green bubble.
- Click it, options will be displayed
- Choose "💬 Chat"
- Note: the bubble will only display the chat for a computer version. If you are on a cell phone, you must check "Desktop site" in your browser settings.
- Submit your question with possibly a relevant screenshot or modem photo
- After that will be displayed the number of customers preceding you, to manage your expectations. Updated real time.
ALTERNATIVELY, try leaving a message on Facebook Messenger (https://www.facebook.com/fizzca), iMessage or Twitter private. The advantages of Fizz tool are the management of waiting times and the ability to print (e.g. PDF) a copy of the conversation for your records. Sometimes you can even leave a comment about your satisfaction with the conversation.
The WhatsApp way has been described in "How to contact Fizz on WhatsApp?" at https://forum.fizz.ca/en/discussion/comment/6568069
