Do Upgrades Expire
Do upgrades on my account ever expire?
If so, how long do they stay valid?
Does the timer for which they expire start when I receive the upgrade or only when I apply it to my account?

Upgrades do expire.
Timer starts when you receive them., not when you use them.
Expiration period is 2 years. Some experienced a longer period, at Fizz' discretion.
Every upgrade is valid for two (2) years starting from the date you receive it (whether you apply it to your plan or not).

Timing is different from Perks:
A perk is a single-use item — for example, 2 GB of mobile data valid for 30 days once activated.
For instance, there is currently a promotion when you subscribe to Fizz Mobile:
Five perks of 1 GB each will be automatically deposited in your Fizz account within 60 days following the activation of your plan

When I first started with fizz during the Beta period they mentioned that they did not expire after a few months someone noted that some perks expired after 2 years. Yet there is no information on my perks that they have a time limit and that they will expire so I'm guessing that as long as I don't have any clear information on whether or not they expire, I'll consider not having and expiration date on them.

Yes after 2 years in theory. In pratice its depend for now only the voice mail as expired i think.
