    Hello Montreal_User,

    Apologies for the unpleasant situation.

Have you tried to reboot the phone to see if the situation changes? Also, I suggest to change the network manually from your phone's settings menu to see if you will be able to find a Fizz network that offers better reception.  A few more suggestions can be found here:

    https://fizz.ca/en/faq/why-does-my-phone-say-emergency-calls-only

If the issue persists, please reach us directly through the link above to test further with you.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Have a good one.

There has been multiple reports about network issues since this morning at Rogers but https://downdetector.ca/ shows a trend amongst many.

Maybe this is affecting you as well?

I'm personally able to send SMS and calls. Maybe it is fixed or intermittent or geographically based.

    Maybe try :

    • choose a Fizz-EXT and come back?
    • go in airplane mode for 30 seconds and come back.

Rogers Fido are now in the news:

    And on Facebook:

Yes I've rebooted and it's the same, no reception. When I go into settings there's no other network I can choose, it just says DISCONNECTED

How do I reach you, that link you provided only has one mention of the Contact Us page, which brings me to this Community hub.

    Please help

Chat bubble is the tool to reach Fizz, there is no phone to call them. To chat:

    1. Go to a FAQ page e.g. https://fizz.ca/en/faq/status-services
    2. Look bottom right for the big ❔ question mark in a green bubble.
    3. Click it, options will be displayed
    4. Choose "Chat"
    5. Note: the bubble will only display the chat for a computer version. If you are on a cell phone, you must check "Desktop site" in your browser settings.
    6. Submit your question with possibly a relevant screenshot or modem photo
    7. After that will be displayed the number of customers preceding you, to manage your expectations. Updated real time.

ALTERNATIVELY, try leaving a message on Facebook Messenger (https://www.facebook.com/fizzca), iMessage or Twitter private. The advantages of their tool are the management of waiting times and the ability to print (e.g. PDF) a copy of the conversation for your records. Sometimes you can even leave a comment about your satisfaction with the conversation.

While on the link I have previously sent, you will need to make sure that ad-block extensions are disabled for the domain and that pop-ups are allowed and then wait a few seconds for the question mark symbol to show up in the bottom right corner and click on it and there you can see different options to reach us.

When click on the "?" it gives the options like your gif, but when I click on the CHAT option, nothing happens. I'm used both Firefox and Chrome

If the "?" does nothing, make sure…

    • no browser extension blocks its appearance (ad blocker or plugins like "NoScript").
    • try in incognito mode
    • JavaScript is enabled
    • no VPN disables the rendering, some have ad blockers
    • to empty your cache
    • to try with a different browser, Chrome and Edge are known to work relatively well with Fizz
    • to try on another device (mobile, laptop, tablet)

If all fails, like mentioned earlier try the Facebook Messenger option. Many find it useful.
