cellular data in the us?

I switched my plan from Québec only to Canada-USA because I often have to go to the states for work and now my cellular data isn't working in the US. I'm wondering why and if the Canada-USA plan is only for texts and phone calls...

You need to enable the data roaming
You should also check the APN settings, a wrong configuration can work on Fizz and not on Fizz Ext (roaming)

Is your plan already switched to Canada/US since the modification will be applied at your next billing cycle after the modification?
My first time in the US i was obliged to reboot the phone

Usually change applies only with your next billing cycle. If this has already passed make sure that roaming is on and your APN settings are correct.

Changes applied in the next billing cycle, also make sure you have activated the data roaming. Hope this helps!2

Apologies for the unpleasant situation.
The mobile data will work as well while in US with the coverage your plan has at the moment.
Have you tried the suggestions received from Mike? Also, please test by changing the network manually in your phone's settings between AT&T and T-mobile.
Have you verified on our coverage map if you are not in a area in USA where we do not have coverage through our partners? You can verify this here:
