How to get Fizz referral bonus after banking mishap?

I was referred to fizz from a friend and used the referral code to sign up. Unfortunately when I tried to pay by bill for the second month, I entered my banking info wrong, and the payment failed. I promptly fixed it, but since then, nether me or my friend have received the referral bonus for signing up.
Is it too late to fix this? Fizz is being unresponsive to my questions

you should contact the support, in my opinion you must have your credit
You can contact Fizz support by chat for help, from 8 AM to 9 PM every day:
1- Connect to your Fizz account by clicking « Login » in the top right corner at fizz.ca
2- Any ad blockers in your browser should be disabled.
3- Click on this link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/I-cant-make-any-calls-on-my-phone-why
4- The green chat bubble should appear after a few seconds in the bottom right corner.
If the chat bubble does not appear, this means that the number of sessions waiting for our answers surpasses our processing capacity. If that happens, send us a private message via Facebook Messenger or Twitter.8 -
Hi Vanessa,
I just verified the situation from our end on your account and I'm very sorry to inform you that there was no referral code ever added to the subscription process of your current mobile plan.
Therefore, there is no bonus to be applied in this case.
You can add the referral code at the very end of the subscription process, in the entry titled Referral on the page of the order summary for your very 1st plan created on the account only.
Make sure to click on the green button next to it to apply the code!
