couldn't return modem/ router?
I couldn't return my modem/ router as I was out of Canada and I see that my card has been charged with US$130
I'm not sure how do I request an extension to return those and get the money refunded

I don't think you can get refunded before the modem is actually returned. The modem must be returned within 15 days of cancelling your internet service. Otherwise there is a charge of $150 cdn + taxes.
Please contact Fizz support to explain your situation. They can be contacted thru Live Chat, from 8 AM to 9 PM everyday:

I verified your account and you were indeed charged for not returning the modem to us.
