Why doesn't my modem connect to internet after a power outage?

Please try unplugging it from the electrical outlet. Wait a few minutes before retrying. Hope this works.
If problem persists, you can contact customer support by chat, from 8 AM to 9 PM every day:
1- Connect to your Fizz account by clicking « Login » in the top right corner at fizz.ca
2- Any ad blockers in your browser should be disabled.
3- Click on this link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/my-modem-connected-cable-my-connection-keeps-cutting-out-how-do-i-fix
4- The green chat bubble should appear after a few seconds in the bottom right corner.9 -

First, Try to reconnect the modem to the electrical outlet.
If nothing works after a few minutes.
Please, contact the Fizz customer service by chat.
Log to your Fizz account.

Click to the green chat bubble when you see it down to the right of the page.8 -
Make sure you respect the "wait a few minutes before replugging it in" comment from Fizzy since the modem needs this to fully reboot.8

Hi. Sometimes, after a power outage, when the power come back it may come in waves on/off repeatedly, and some devices may be affected or even bricked.This is the case of your modem or their connecting devices.
You already did all you can do to reconnect to Fizz network now is time for Fizz to check their side..
As you contacted Fizz, they will make some other tests (on network), and if everything is correct, they will proceed surely to change the modem.
