Not receiving some text (SMS) messages

I receive most of my messages but not some. I do not receive messages from Google Maps that I send myself. I also haven't received two texts from my home internet provider that they sent me. I do receive texts from friends and my partner but not from some service providers. Any idea what is wrong?
What is the actual number that should be set in my Messaging app for text messages? I have a 514 number but I've read here online that it should be a 438 number. Can anyone provide the current correct number?

Hi Stephen,
the message from a company like google was a known problem a year ago.
You need to signal the problem to the support since the problem must be on the Fizz side.
You can contact Fizz support by chat, from 8 AM to 9 PM everyday:
1- Connect to your Fizz account by clicking « Login » in the top right corner at fizz.ca
2- Click on this link: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/whats-my-rewards-program
3- The green chat bubble should appear after a few seconds in the bottom right corner.7 -
If your number is new it may take a couple of weeks before it is registered in all services.7

Stephen some short numbers for sending texts are not ok with Fizz...they need to accept them first. Reach fizz for more clarification. Chat with Fizz.
To chat without problem:
First, connect you to your fizz account.
Then contact them at: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-payment-methods-can-i-use
Wait a few seconds to see the green chat bubble down to the right of the page.
When you see it, click on it.
Your chat session begins with Fizz
