Hi there!
I'm coming from the UK and I would like a mobile plan from Fizz. I just ordered a SIM card but I saw I need to transfer the number. Can I just take the SIM card to my phone and activate it? Do I need the bill of the previous number?
Many thanks.

That’s how it works: When you will create your own mobile plan there will be an option to keep/transfert your own mobile phone number. Make sure you didn’t close you mobile line on your other company before doing this because your number will be no more in service. Also you will need the code on the SIM card to create your new mobile plan and to transfer your number.
Hope I answered your question!

Gina be sure to have this kind of payments... You can use a Visa or Mastercard credit card (including prepaid), or a Visa Debit card to pay for your Fizz plans.
Other cards such as debit cards, American Express (Amex), Dinners, and others are not accepted. Foreign credit/debit cards are also not accepted. You also cannot use the funds from your Fizz Wallet to pay for your monthly plan. https://fizz.ca/en/faq/what-payment-methods-can-i-use8 -
Hi Gina,
Welcome to Canada! Here is a FAQ for how to sign up with mobile services. https://fizz.ca/en/faq/how-do-i-subscribe-to-fizz8 -
You can either get a new number or port yours to their services. The choice is yours.
Upon activating your SIM card, you will be able to choose between 15 different phone numbers.6 -
Gina,
You can choose a new telephone number for your mobile plan with Fizz.

You can either transfer your current number to Fizz (in this case don't close your account with your current provider, it will be closed automatically after the transfer) or to get a new number (in this case you have to close your account with your current provider by yourself).
You can use your phone's IMEI for the transfer so you don't need a bill.0 -
Hi Gina,
If you previously had a UK number, it cannot be transferred to Fizz as only numbers coming from Quebec or from the Greater Ottawa area can be brought to us from another provider. You can also consult our dedicated FAQ for this information: https://fizz.ca/en/faq/activation-how-do-i-transfer-my-current-phone-number-to-fizz.
However, I see that you've successfully activated a new number today. Welcome to our Fizz family
Have a lovely day!
