how to move my modem myself to different house in same area?

is their any way to move my modem myself to my new house which is down the block. if yes than how?
i connected it to the outlet and when i tried to connect my computer i see the wifi source but it says that their is no internet.
can anyone please help asap?

    If you connect to an active Vidéotron cable is going to work.
    However, you should do the procedure, from time to time the Vidéotron technicians are disconnecting the cable.

    Yes, you can bring your modem to your new place but you need to register it into your Fizz internet account.
    First, connect you to your Fizz account.
