Fizz wi-fi app not connecting to modem when VPN (IPvanish) is on

Why is the Fizz not connecting to the modem when my VPN is turned on.When I turn the VPN off I get a connection and the speed test only gives me a reading : Internet to modem but not modem to device

    Check on the VPN setting if you exclude the 192.168.0.1 net ask 25t5.255.255.0 to be tunneled to the VPN

    Is it only with the app ? Have you try to access it in a browser by tapping 192.168.0.1 in the address bar ?

    When this kind of issue appears, you may also check if the IP of your VPN is a Canadian one, otherwise the Fizz WiFi app won't recognize your modem. I would also recommend you to contact your VPN provider and to make sure that all the settings are properly done.
