Why aren't I able to move my internet services in advance? (error + current fizz user message, chat

I'm trying to move my internet to a new address proactively - I'm moving on July 1st and don't want to not have wifi when I arrive - but when I try to change my address I get either an error message or a 'current fizz user must first cancel their plan' message. I've talking to fizz staff on the chat and they weren't helpful at all.
Is there any other way to proceed or will I have to wait till the day-of to change my services?

This is a problem, it seems that the previous tenant has already a Fizz in their apartment
Only the support can tell you how to proceed, here we are users9 -
@Mike I've already talked to fizz staff on the chat, so that's why I've come to the community hub to see if anyone has had the same experience or a way around this problem8

I know I read your post, however, only them can help you out
On my opinion when you move to the new apartment internet will work, since Fizz (videotron tech) will not unplug the cable connection on the 1 of July
But I am an user like you and I cannot guarantee8 -
Hello Caitlin,
In order for our support department to be able to assist you, I suggest you contact the landlord of your new apartment/house, to check with the current tenant and see until when he has the subscription open. Then, when he cancels, you will be able to subscribe there.
Until then, we can't do anything from our end.
As our system only accepts one subscriber per address, therefore, you will need to contact the landlord or the tenant that lives there.
Cheers!
