Out of province due to COVID-19 circumstances?
I'll be returning home in BC soon for the summer (until the end of August) due the the COVID-19 situation. I'm afraid that 5 months might be a long time out of coverage.
Would they shut down my number if I'm out of coverage area for that long or would the services just stop working and resume as soon as I return? Would they be willing to consider if I talk to them about the situation?

Meera,
If you stay longer than 3 months in BC
maybe it would be better for this period to change your Fizz plan to minimum and to keep your telephone number, choose: only, the basic Quebec coverage which costs you 10.46 + tx monthly.
Or
for other suggestions to the Fizz support about your specific situation to return to BC.
Please, contact the Fizz support by chat from 8h00 to 21h00, each day.:
First, connect you to your Fizz account.
https://fizz.ca/en/contact-us
Wait a few seconds to see the green chat bubble down to the right of the page.
When you see it, click on it.
Your chat session begins with Fizz.7 -
You need to confirme with them but.
I had an old number with fizz when they started and i still see the old number in my account with the option re-activate after more than 6 months. so i suppose as long as you keep your sim you will be able to reactivate it with the same numbre even after few months (there must be a limite).
Please confirm with fizz support.6 -
