Ethernet connection caps at 5mbps, even though my ethernet adapter's limit is 1gbps?

The title explains it pretty much. I've reset my ethernet network. Unplugged, replugged my PC, unplugged, replugged the modem. Is the modem configuration preventing me from having more than 5mbps on my ethernet connection?

    Hey Philipe,
What type of adapter and model do you have? Can you try without an ethernet adapter and see if there is a difference?
    Thanks,
    Jay

The speed of your internet depends on your internet plan.
Fizz does not have a 5Mbps plan.
You may want to contact Fizz to have your line verified.
