I try to port my 226 number from koodo to fizz, but get "The phone number you entered is not valid. Please try again." Is that means I cannot port my number? any suggestions?

Probably the 226 is not under the fizz coverage remember that fizz in Ontario covers only a little bit. Check the map4

Is the 226 the area code or the first 3 digits of your phone number?
As I can see, the area code 226 is mainly in service in Ontario which is not a region where Fizz is available: https://www.pagesjaunes.ca/fs/226

Sorry, only people residing in Quebec and Greater Ottawa area are eligible to subscribe to Fizz mobile.
Area code 226 number cannot be ported to Fizz because it is outside of the subscription area

226 area code can't port to Fizz. not in the coverage area.6

Your number is not in Fizz's coverage zone, so you can't port it.3

Fizz provides service to those in the Quebec and Ottawa regions. 226 area code is in southwestern Ontario, so Fizz can not service that number.2
