Odd though, my sister-in-law via her dell windows xp is watching a film. On the other hand Chromecast won't connect and my computer running Windows . Can't connect. Help

That’s the ethernet and wifi thats flashing it’s normal it means there is traffic or activity... deactivate ATF and band steering in the advance setting and you should be ok. But its normal for wifi and ethernet to flash.6

try separating the 2.4 and 5G connections by turning off band steering.
log into your router > wireless > basic settings > 5G > disable4 -
As suggested by Lopressor, try to desactivate band steering3

With the help of Ana, this morning, we proceded to reset my modem to it's inital configuration. Ate the moment I right this, my system seems to be working properly.
I feel my situation seems stabalised and will continue to survey my situation.
For the moment, I feel confident enough to close this question.
As usual, Ana and the team are of great help. Only problem is I have been waiting since my installation day to have access to the BUBBLE.
Thank you Ana
