I was asked about my billing info and at the referral spot I tried several times to put in the code and I marked error(XLG8O).

I would try entering the code manually, not copy & pasting as sometimes that leaves a space and causes an error. I do get some errors when on the Fizz website on mobile, none so far when on a desktop.3

Manuel : remember that the referral code works only during the sim card activation process. Once your sim card is activated, it will be too late to use the code of your referral.3

Yes as others have mentioned, using PC desktop or laptop would be better.
You can also clear cache and try incognito. Use different browser if needed.
