the network is lost the moment I try to make a phone call, why is this happening?

Hi,
starting with this morning, I'm having the following issue: when I try to make a phone call, the network is lost.
I have an android phone and my wife an iphone, both with fizz, having the same issue: can't make a phone call.
I checked your network status and it says everything is functional. well, obviously, to me, it's not.
Can you let me know what's going on?
PS: We are located in Kanata
