So I received a text today saying that I hit 90% of my data usage, however when I logged into my Fizz account, It shows that I have 10Gb left.

I've received that text before. It didn't mean anything as I kept using data and everything worked normally. You can safely ignore it as just another one of their bugs yet to be squashed.9

Their notification system is a bit faulty, but they don't want to admit it.5

I used up about 50 mb and it shows my 500gb perk is gone... go figure...3
