I came back!
Hey all, I came back and with a little story to tell!
I started with Fido when I first got a phone and been with them for more than 10 years. Obviously, couldn't get any better price until I found out about Fizz. Called Fido to see if they could do anything about the pricing but always offered to give out more data that I won't be needing...
Switched to Fizz and been happy until Fido called back with an offer. They wanted to give me 20GB for 20$ CAN+US. I was thrilled and went back with them. Little did I know, it was only calling to US from CAN only. Got some roaming fees that I got canceled but was such a hassle. Price kept going up so decided to come back with Fizz.
I am glad to be back and don't plan on leaving anytime soon knowing that the prices are VERY competitive, easy to use, customizable to my needs and the community is growing bigger and bigger everyday.
Cheers to everyone!

Almost the same with me 👍🏻 ,
Welcome back
By the way, i don’t think IT’s allowed to mention companies by their name in the forum.

Please read the Community user guidelines
https://fizz.ca/en/community-user-guidelinesThere is nothing in there that says you can't mentioned other carriers by name. Only that such mentions must be in the context of "Providing factual, objective comparisons" and without advertising, promoting, recommending, endorsing them or making negative or disparaging remarks about them.
And to support @Dacv92 here, I had the exact same experience with Rogers before joining Fizz. A "CAN+US" plan, advertised with lots of American flags, etc, and the fact that it included only talk & text to the US from Canada but no roaming was hidden way in the fine print using wording that you could easily read past without recognizing its limiting character if you weren't already suspicious. In fact, it wasn't until I saw my first bill and how my plan was designated there, that made me realize I hadn't gotten what I thought I did. So, I share @Dacv92's experience, luckily short of actually incurring unexpected roaming fees in the US myself, and thus know that it is factual.
Then again, that exact experience eventually brought me on board with Fizz, so I guess, in the great scheme of things, had Rogers delivered what I thought I was buying, I possibly would have paid three times of what I am paying at Fizz to this day 😀

Welcome back! One of the biggest advantages at Fizz is that there is no plan price creep like at some other carriers, where extra monthly fees get added to your existing plan periodically such that the great deal you once had is no longer worth it.
