Anyone else on a cheaper plan and not moving to 5G

So on my current plan I pay $25 a month - I get 20 gb a month and unlimited calls and texts within Canada, I had got this plan in June 2024. Now I see all these ads to move to 5G but when I check the plans, the comparable plan is 50GB but for $30 and the lower option is $28 but 10 gb and the next one is $24 but only 5gb .. so that makes me feel like my current 4G plan is way better and I’m quite happy with the internet speeds also but curious about what 5G would be like.. any suggestions or advice on this one?

I wouldn't rush to get 5G, a lot of users report coverage isn't great and using 4G anyway.
It's worth a trying if you're unhappy with your current speeds.

Hi, it's not a question of coverage, because 4G LTE is more stable, but of speed with 5G, which has better latency. For most people, 4G LTE is enough.

You can sleep easy with your current plan.

Welcome to the Fizz forum! I have two lines - one already has 5G and the other is 4G only. Unless a better deal becomes available in the future, I am not planning to make changes to my existing 4G plan.

Same here. I have 20 GB for $13 (without unlimited talk & text though). Not planning on changing anything unless Fizz at least comes close to offer anything similar in the future.

If the 25 GB for $25 offer ever comes back and were to include 5G access, I may think about it...
