Where are the 4G/LTE plans?
Hi,
My father has an iPhone 11 and I want to set him up with a 4G/LTE plan.
Unfortunately, when I search for 4G/LTE plans ("Mobile plans" links or "Bring your own phone plans" link), the links default to 5G plans.
What am I not understanding and/or what am I doing wrong?

Hi, in the same page you can toggle 4G above the data capacity visual bar, or if you decrease the data enough it'll automatically switch to 4G.
Currently the data rich plans are all 5G.0 -

It seems that Fizz currently (or maybe even permanently?) does not sell 4G plans but upgrades each plan to 5G. On its website under "Mobile" -> "Mobile plans" it says:
"All data plans are now rolling on 5G!".As a side note: your fathers iPhone 11 would also work with a 5G plan, as long as there is 4G mobile network coverage in the desired areas. A coverage map of Fizz is shown here.

4G if no data, you can have free data from perk or wallet

I think you may be cooked as they are rolling out 5G only, and 4G at 0GB, however if you are yourself on a data rich plan, you could always send him data every month. But the 5G at 5GB is still a reasonable offer at $24/month with unlimited call and texts + voicemail

most carriers just call everything “5G plans” now even the ones that still work fine on 4G phones
Your iPhone 11 will just connect to 4G/LTE on those plans -no problem. you don’t need a special “4G-only” plan. just pick any BYOD/bring-your-own-phone plan and it’ll work0 -

Yeah and I never say you can, but there 500MB and 1GB perk that work without data
